55 years of Tradition
The Can-Can Girls and Prospector Willy welcome you to the 55th annual Prospectors’ Days! Join us in Republic, Washington for a fun-filled weekend that celebrates the town’s heritage. Nestled in the heart of National Forest and some of the most scenic and rugged country in the state, Republic makes a great getaway destination. Prospectors’ Days is the perfect reason to take a rockin’ roadtrip to Republic, just 2.5 hours northwest of Spokane.
Republic is one of the oldest gold mining towns in Washington. Founders originally named our community Eureka Gulch, later changing the name to Republic. You may travel Highway 20 over 5,575 foot Sherman Pass (one of Washington’s designated scenic byways), cross Lake Roosevelt on the Keller Ferry, or come over Wauconda Pass from the west. The views are breathtaking any way you choose.
Activities for Everyone
Rush to Republic for three days of tradition, celebration and new adventures. Bring the whole family to pan for gold… real gold! Register your team for the 3 on 3 basketball tournament. Lace up for the 10K Gold Rush Run, a challenging road race that starts and finishes downhill, and winds through spectacular scenery. Watch (or participate in) strenuous logging and mining competitions that showcase the industries that built our town. Line up to watch the parade, and enjoy the high-noon shootout that precedes it. Listen to live music in the park, take part in the Friday-night street dance, admire the classic car show, play bingo, and see the thrills and spills of both soapbox derby and stock car racing. Check out our entire lineup of events to see what you simply can't miss.
Ready to Rush to Republic? EUREKA! We’ll be happy to see you!
