Rush to Republic for three days of tradition, celebration and new adventures. Bring the whole family to pan for gold… real gold! Register your team for the 3x3 basketball tournament. Lace up for the 10K; The Ferry County PUD Gold Rush Run is a challenging road race that starts and finishes downhill, through spectacular scenery. Or join the shorter jaunt of the 3K. Watch the parade, buy local arts and crafts, food and live music. For you explorers, a free dig at Stonerose; you may discover THE fossil. Plus, watch some of the most strenuous logging and mining competitions.

Republic is one of the oldest gold mining towns in Washington. Founders originally named our community Eureka Gulch, later changing the name to Republic. You could travel Highway 20 that crosses Sherman Pass… one of Washington’s designated scenic byways or cross by the Ferry. The views are breathtaking either way you choose.
